Barwa Bank adopts Infotrix customer visit management solution from SEDCO

Doha, Qatar – March 3, 2009 – Barwa Bank in Qatar has adopted Infotrix customer visit management solution from SEDCO to manage the flow of its visiting customers. The solution consists of a powerful queuing management system as well as digital signage to promote the bank's products and services.

Barwa Bank is a leading financial institution in Qatar that has been keen on furnishing itself with the latest technologies. The bank examined many market solutions closely, before it had its eye set on Infotrix from SEDCO.

"Infotrix is a comprehensive customer visit management solution that compounds queuing management and digital signage in one package," said Ali Farah, Business Development Manager at SEDCO

The system enables the bank to offer personalized services to customers.

"Once the customers step into the branch, they insert their ATM cards into the kiosks to request a service. The system pulls out their personal data from the backend system and displays this info to the tellers, enabling them to greet the customers with their names as they approach the teller's counter. This will create an atmosphere of friendliness and coziness in the bank, as the customers will no longer be treated as numbers in a queue, but as individuals with distinctive names," Farah explained. "It will also be possible to give priority to certain customers based on their sector and the requested service," he added.

The system expands the bank's promotional capabilities, by deploying digital screens that are disturbed across the branches to display advertisements and promotional content. This content is centrally designed and managed from the head office. The customers can comfortably sit in a special waiting area, entertained by the content displayed on the screens, and get themselves educated about the bank's different products and services, which will lead to cross selling and increasing revenues.

Infotrix is equipped with advanced reporting and assessment tools, which will make it easy for Barwa bank to monitor and assess the performance of its employees and branches, and therefore optimize the employee's productivity and the bank's overall efficiency.
